Dr. Natalie Gomperts received her MD degree from the University of Western Ontario. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Toronto. She completed her cardiology training at the University of Western Ontario and then returned to the University of Toronto, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre to complete her fellowship in Echocardiography where she received the Alice Boccia fellowship in cardiology and level 3 certification in echocardiography. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in both internal medicine and cardiology.
Dr. Gomperts specialises in Echocardiography, Stress echocardiography, Women’s cardiovascular health, Valvular heart disease and primary and secondary prevention of atherosclerotic heart disease. Dr. Gomperts has received a number of awards throughout her medical and cardiac training and has been published in the Canadian Journal of cardiology and the European Journal of Cardiology.
Her practice philosophy is based on a team approach. She encourages an open flow of communication, which includes providing timely feedback to questions raised by referring physicians. She understands that treating your patients is a privilege and takes great interest in ensuring that attentive and compassionate care is provided.
